Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how the TheCupXI mobile application ("the App", "we", "us") handles information.

1. The short version

We do not collect, store, sell, or share any personal data. The App does not require an account, does not use analytics SDKs, does not use advertising SDKs, and does not include third-party tracking. This is reflected in the App's PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy manifest, which declares NSPrivacyTracking=false and an empty list of collected data types.

2. Information we do not collect

Name, email address, phone number, or any other contact information
Location, IP address, or device identifiers used for tracking
Photos, contacts, calendar, or other content from your device
Behavioural analytics, crash reports, or session recordings
Advertising identifiers (IDFA) — the App does not request ATT

3. Information stored locally on your device

The App stores your saved Starting XI lineups, formation choices, and preferences in your device's local storage (UserDefaults and the App's sandbox). This data never leaves your device and is removed when you uninstall the App.

4. Network requests

The App fetches publicly available football tournament data (squads, fixtures, standings) from our backend at https://api.thecupxi.com. These requests carry no personal identifier — only the data you would see on any public sports website. Standard server logs (request path, timestamp, IP) are kept for at most 30 days for security and abuse prevention, then deleted.

5. In-App Purchases

If you purchase TheCupXI Pro, the transaction is processed entirely by Apple's StoreKit framework. We never see your payment details. Apple's own Privacy Policy applies to that transaction. We receive only an anonymous receipt token confirming the purchase status.

6. Children

The App is rated 4+ on the App Store. Because we do not collect any data from any user, our practices are inherently compliant with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the EU GDPR's child-protection provisions.

7. Your rights

Since we do not hold any personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export, or delete on request. Removing all App data is as simple as deleting the App from your device.

8. Changes to this policy

If we update this Privacy Policy in the future, the new version will replace the one at this URL and the "Effective date" above will change. Continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance.
